I started blogging about things around Florida back in 2010 at ExcitingFlorida.com, but when I moved away for a few years, it became harder to write about Florida.

When I discovered the “Travel Hacking” world, my travels started to take me far beyond Florida and the United States, and now I spend about half my time in Costa Rica. Even though my home is back in Florida now, I thought my blog needed a more appropriate name, so in January 2019, Travel Realized was created.
